You get a pound of this tea for the same price as a few ounces of other teas and it is just as good if not better, and it is organic. It is certified organic and that is extremely important for fruits, vegetables, and teas. This is not the pine needle white tea, it is large green leaves and it is very sweet and has a beautiful flavor and aroma. It should be infused at 165 degrees, not 212 which is boiling to preserve the beneficial compounds. Never add milk to tea, it kills hte compounds that you are drinking it for. Add honey, agave, sugar, or stevia...Sweet Leaf liquid is a great one. Their green tea is also incredible and I like every one of hte varieties that they have. You can make iced tea by putting five tablespoons or more in a large pitcher and putting it in the refrigerator foe at least 5 hours. This preserves even more of the compounds and antioxidants! Add the lemon after you make the tea as the acidity will kill some of the compounds. This company does not make the best tea in the world, but it make incredible tea at the best price on earth and desertcart gets it to you in a day or two. The large bags seal, but not too well...get a large air tight metal container. Use a Breville Tea infuser...$200 and worth it or just get a glass tea pot with a large stainless steel fine mesh strainer. You will need a thermometer...$20 for a good one and you need it to kn-low when your meats are done anyway! !65 to 212 degrees for each type of tea and never infuse for more than one 90 seconds except for certain black tea, which you can steep for 3-4 minutes. After that the tannins and bitter acids seep into your tea and ruin it. You can do up to 7 infusions from a basket half full of tea but add 10 seconds for each successive infusion. You must have the temperature between 165 and 170 degrees and no more that 90 seconds for any tea other than black. Herbal teas are not really teas but can have some health benefits as well. Get a book on tea and discover the best drink in the world...unless you add sugar! I like to add crushed raspberries, mint, or dried mango to tea. Review: Good, low oxalate solution. - I got this because I am focusing on low oxalate items to take some pressure of the kidneys. As it turns out, drinking quarts upon quarts of standard black tea is really bad on the oxalates. White peony tea is the opposite. This tea is reasonable. I don't really notice an enhancement or anything to awareness I get from black tea, but this is still something to sip on while doing other things. It doesn't have any overwhelming flavor profile. Its just chill tea. Its going to take me a while to get through this bag. A pound of this stuff would fill a gallon container, maybe more. Update 2/15 So yeah, I'm a fan. I get a bag of this and a bag of the Green Ginseng/lemon and mix it together. I think I got my mom hooked on it as well as she stole a jar from me when I went down to visit. Will be on the lookout for something with rosemary in it to top off my personal blend.

I studied cooking, nutrition, dieting, and holistic medicine for 15 years before writing The Diet Bible. Hundreds of the books I read talked about the health benefits of tea, and in particular, white and green tea, which have powerful antioxidants and other substances that help your body fight free radicals and many other things. I have tried teas from The Republic of Tea, Teavanna, and others and they are excellent. The Davidson's brand is like Cosco...excellent product at a fair price in bulk. You get a pound of this tea for the same price as a few ounces of other teas and it is just as good if not better, and it is organic. It is certified organic and that is extremely important for fruits, vegetables, and teas. This is not the pine needle white tea, it is large green leaves and it is very sweet and has a beautiful flavor and aroma. I got this because I am focusing on low oxalate items to take some pressure of the kidneys. As it turns out, drinking quarts upon quarts of standard black tea is really bad on the oxalates. White peony tea is the opposite. This tea is reasonable. I don't really notice an enhancement or anything to awareness I get from black tea, but this is still something to sip on while doing other things. It doesn't have any overwhelming flavor profile. Its just chill tea. Its going to take me a while to get through this bag. A pound of this stuff would fill a gallon container, maybe more. Update 2/15 So yeah, I'm a fan. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Size Does Matter

If you are wondering why you would ever want to pay this much for a bag of tea well... 16 oz. translate into a huge bag so there's going to be a lot of excellent, delicate, exquisite white tea coming out of it. No, it's not the best white tea ever but that's not what this bag of tea was ordered for. I have this Keurig-compatible 'coffee' maker and a set of reusable pods and I wanted the capability of making quick tea that's good to drink. Using my actually good tea in a Keurig machine would seem as a betrayal to me, not to mention that you need to use more tea leaves per cup to get something out of it but with this bag I get near-excellent tea quick and I should keep getting it for many months before I need to order another. Now, for the product itself, as you can see, it comes in a light brown, self-sealing paper bag. I am keeping it in there for the time being because, being so much of it, I don't have any large enough container to store it and, a few weeks later, I didn't notice any loss of aroma or flavor. There are genuine leaves in the bag and the tea that comes out is the best 1-minute cup of white tea you can ever get out of a Keurig machine. Will reorder when out but, given the amount in the bag, it's going to be a while before I'll have to do that.
