It sticks amazing when the surface is prepped correctly and there is instructions on the package telling you how to clean and prep the surface. It seals great after adjusting the hinges and tweaking the door to properly contour to the smoker body. The size and thickness is perfect and will contour to seems and imperfections after a heat cycle. And lesson learned that when you cut this MAKE SURE you have already pulled the waxed paper backing past where you cut because it's a nightmare to get the backing separated from the adhesive.
