**Q: Does this come with paperstream software?**
A: The standard model do not come with Paperstream software, but they have a "Bundle" version that costs more and it does come with Paperstream software.

**Q: Does the software provide for auto-naming scanned documents or do I have to input a name for each document?**
A: It does auto naming, but something like CF0001.pdf.  You can have it prompt to name or name after it has been saved.

**Q: does it come with usb cord and power cord?**
A: SantechUSA includes both AC adapter and USB cable with Fi-7160 scanner.

**Q: Can you use this scanner with a MacBook?**
A: This scanner does have the support of even latest Mac OS 13.

Worst purchase I’ve ever made. I bought this in late December/early January but didn’t open it until February because my family was dealing with a loss. When I finally opened it, the item was clearly used—it was not new as advertised. The scanning quality is terrible. I paid a significant amount for a scanner to share documents with clients, but the scans show page edges, and the machine frequently jams. I’ve contacted the seller multiple times since early February and still haven’t received a response. Initially, they pointed to the 30-day return policy. I explained the situation and why I didn’t reach out until about 45 days after purchase. They said they would check with the manufacturer and follow up—but it’s now April, and I’m stuck with a product that doesn’t work and performs poorly. My 10-year-old printer/copier does a better job than this.
