Review: Easy to use, doesn't leave a residue, gas water-heater safe, and actually kills bugs - I've been using these "Hot Shot No-Mess! Fogger With Odor Neutralizer," for many years and have been very happy with them. Shake for 30 seconds, remove the black cap, rotate the can so that it will point AWAY from you when you depress the lever, press the lever, and run away. I use 2 of these in my 2-car garage every month and 2 of these in my 800 sq.ft. metal shed every month. Before I started using these in the metal shed, I had a real black widow problem. Since then, no problem. The key with this is to do it regularly. If you wait only until you see bugs, it is already too late. Also, it is gas water-heater safe so this blue can is the one that I use in my garage where the water heater is located. Use the blue cans in the metal shed also. The only issue I had was a couple of years ago when they changed the plastic used in the dispenser nozzle (they switched from gray plastic and a white frosted plastic). Those cans didn't work since the white frosted plastic jammed or broke and wouldn't dispense. They quickly switched back to gray plastic, so they figured out that the white frosted plastic was a bad idea. No problems since then. Scott

**Q: is hot stuff fogger safe around infants and pets?**
A: Just read the user manual because I had the same question.  It says: "Do not allow adults, children or pets to enter the treated area until vapors, mists and aerosols have dispersed and the treated area has been thoroughly ventilated."   So, it looks like it is safe as long as it has "dispersed" and the area is "thoroughly ventilated".

**Q: Do you have to turn off your pilot lights before use?**
A: It says right on the front of the box "No need to turn off pilot lights"  so you should be fine to leave it on. Maybe just don't place the can right next to the stove.

**Q: I only want to fog my single bedroom. Do I need to cover(wash) my bedding, clothing before I go to bed or wear it?**
A: I called the number on the Hot Shot Bedbug and Fleas box and I received help on the phone. They answered this question for me and said that as long as the product is dry, it is completely safe by the time you go back into your room. You do not need to cover/wash your bedding or clothing. The only thing they said was to vacuum if you have a carpet, just so you can get rid of the dead fleas on the floor.

**Q: Do you have to/should you cover beds & bedding around this?**
A: No, you do not have to cover anything.  Just put some newspaper down on the floor where the aerosol can goes.  I have never had anissue with any residue.

I've been using these "Hot Shot No-Mess! Fogger With Odor Neutralizer," for many years and have been very happy with them. Shake for 30 seconds, remove the black cap, rotate the can so that it will point AWAY from you when you depress the lever, press the lever, and run away. Simple and easy to use and did not leave any real sort of residue, even though it is 100% recommended that you wipe off and clean any surfaces afterwards. Can't be too sure about the effectiveness of it since I only ever saw 1 spider in the pod that it was used for.
