I searched for a product that was mo-toxic and decided to try this. I decoupage oyster and clam shells and wanted something to make them more durable and shiny. I even tested it to see if it would be waterproof. I put it in the dishwasher on the hottest water and where it would get the most amount of water on it. It came out perfect, looking the same and no leaks. Of course I made sure it was sealed on front , back and sides.
