These are very secure. I wish these were sold in pairs cuz you do have to dish out money to buy a 2.75 inch hole saw, foam tape, and screws to set this up.But I'm glad I got this anyways. Just gives peace of mind. And I'm sure these help run your setup a bit cooler since you have more metal to wire contact and can run thicker gauges easily. I would always have to remove my subs and find connections come loose especially after upgrading to stronger subs. Troubleshooting used to be a hassle, but with this you can crimp the proper ring terminal size to your wire and you're set forever. I would recommend tightening (w/ a 13mm wrench) the side that goes inside the box (while holding the last nut on the other side) before screwing the terminal on. It will never go anywhere. Installing and removing the wire on the outside is a breeze by hand and the flange nut has a good bite on the crimped wire. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Goodbye air leak! *by N***E on December 3, 2019* Perfect for my needs. Tight seal for matching hole saw once carpet is out of the way. No need for sealants. No nuts rattling loose. No arcing from flimsy push terminals. Material is very tough. Worth the additional cost in my opinion. The bolt setup sticks out a little and isn’t the most aesthetically pleasing thing to look at, but it’s not permanently attached so you can cut or replace the bolt if you need to. Perhaps a cover can be made to fit inside with a section removed for wires to fit. That might be more of a special request item though...
