Good product, useful Review: Good tool initially , does what is is designed for. Doesn't last long. - OK well here's an update: I tried it when it arrived from desertcart on half a dozen of my 160 2.0mm clips which is why I bought it and it went well. A bit tricky and not first time every time but most went on first or second time round. But I had 160 clips and this tool lasted for about 60 clips and then would no longer hold the clip for placement into the circular groove. So for a couple of clips yes will do the job but for the money I paid, it's a failure for me. I can no longer install 2.0mm clips, the jaws are worn and will no longer hold the clips under spring pressure so for me, it's now useless to me. That's annoying after spending all that money on a quality tool that soon failed. It's only the 2.0mm installer that I have used but thats the only one I need and why I bought it and now its worn beyond use and no use to me. I don't know if or where a replacement 2.0mm blade can be got so I guess my money is down the drain. ## Features - Handy tool helps you install and remove E-Clips quickly and easily - Can be used with 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0 mm size E-Clips - Steel blades fold into the handle for compact storage - Constructed of durable steel with sizes marked on each wrench - Length: 3 inches (77 millimeters) | Width (closed): 0.91 inches (23 millimeters) ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07XG91TS9 | | Best Sellers Rank | #159,023 in Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Home Improvement ) #462 in Hex Keys | | Brand | Dynamite | | Brand Name | Dynamite | | Colour | Gray | | Country of Publication | USA | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 426 Reviews | | Cutting width | 0.15 Centimeters | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00605482426234 | | Grip Type | Ergonomic | | Handle Material | Alloy Steel | | Included Components | E-Clip Tool | | Item Dimensions L x W | 19.1L x 11.4W Centimeters | | Item Type Name | E-Clip Tool 1.5mm-5mm | | Item Weight | 0.07 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Horizon Hobby | | Manufacturer Part Number | DYNT1107 | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | DYNT1107 | | Product Dimensions | 19.1L x 11.4W Centimeters | | Specific Uses For Product | Installing and removing e-clips | | UPC | 605482426234 | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Dynamite - **Material:** Alloy Steel - **Product Dimensions:** 19.1L x 11.4W Centimeters - **Colour:** Gray - **Handle Material:** Alloy Steel - **Item Weight:** 0.07 Kilograms - **Specific Uses For Product:** Installing and removing e-clips - **Grip Type:** Ergonomic - **Cutting Width:** 0.15 centimetres - **UPC:** 605482426234 ## Images ![Dynamite Ultimate E-Clip Tool 1.5MM-5MM DYNT1107 Hand Tools Misc - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61UEWBdKYSL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Will this work for Ar15 c clip?** A: If it is a e clip it will work **Q: Will it work on a dishwasher solenoid plunger** A: That's an impossible question to answer without more details - how long is a piece of string ? You'd best splash out the $19 and take a chance - at least you will have a good tool in your toolbox to lend to others. **Q: I was hoping these came with some instructions. how do i use these to remove small c-clips? i don't understand how this tool helps with that.** A: Right, no instructions... basically you pick the tool that is one size smaller than the C-clip. Using that tool, you push on the C-clip to pop it out by facing the β€œC” of the e-clip to the β€œC” of the tool. So it would look like a β€œC” facing a backwards β€œC”. **Q: The sizes mentioned (1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0 mm) are inner or outer diameter of e-clips ?** A: Inner, the tool got me out of a jamb,I was unable to get the ex clip back on my chainsaw after I removed it,this tool made it easy. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tool *by A***R on 31 May 2026* Received within time.
