**Q: Are these shoes true to size?**
A: Yes, I would say they are true to size.  And they are very comfortable!!

**Q: What is the exact heel height?**
A: My size 9 1/2 heel height measured at the back of the shoe is 1 and 6/16 inches.

**Q: does the toe catch like Skechers?**
A: I bought these for my wife, who has a bad knee. She can put these on with no problems. If she had issues with them, I cannot say with 100% surety that I would have heard about it. But I can say with 99.9% confidence that I would have. So my input is that it does not catch the toe. Hope this helps you.

**Q: Do your heels leave the footbed with each step, like with flip flops? I thought the little back would help keep the foot in place.**
A: My feet do not leave footbed with each step,  not like a flip flop at all.  Very comfortable!

These shoes are grand. I have trouble finding shoes for my size 5 1/2 foot. These fit great and are comfortable with a nice arch support (Something else I need). They have become my favorite shoes and seem to be wearing well.

Love the Merrell brand. Have worn them for years. These fit similar to the Encore slide but more sporty like sneaker. Love the white!!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ comfy, fit right, some tread issues

I absolutely love how comfy these shoes are. I bought them so I can slip out of my work shoes and take my walks on my breaks at work. I also use them at my standing desk. Basically, I wonder why I bother with dress shoes at all anymore (oh, yeah, dress code). The only issue I have is that the tread is coming apart on two of the bumps. The tread has nice little bumps that are covered in a rubbery tread. The rubbery tread is undone in two spots. It isn't a big deal, but I suspect it will affect the length of the shoe's life--I don't want to get the unstuck tread caught and have a trip or fall. The spots are near the toes, so I think it is fine for now. I would probably still order these again in the hopes that it was simply a rare flaw.
