All I read in the title line is 12(Twelve) bottles. **Q: what is used as the sugar substitute?** A: It is listed right in the ingredients. One being Sucrose and the other obvious being Sucralose. I am sure sugar can also be derived from any of the natural fruit flavors as well. My Endo. prescribed this for me so I have to presume it is safe for me to consume. I checked my blood sugar before and after drinking this with no significant changes to my blood sugar. Another thing to be cautious of is consuming high levels of carbohydrates as they drastically effect my blood sugar levels.
