Review: Solid Clipper Guards - These are strong clipper guards that do not bend under pressure. I have cut my own hair for a couple of years with the Wahl Elite Pro clipper set. The Elite Pro comes with premium guards. The Clipquik Premium guards attach very well to the clipper. The only real difference is that the Clipquik guards are all plastic. However, they attach securely and I don't worry that they'll separate during use.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will these work with Oster A5 Clippers?**
A: Hello,
These clipper guards will most likely not fit on an Oster A5 clipper.  They do not fit on the Oster Fast Feed as the clipper guards for that clipper must slide on to the blade rather than clip on to the back of the blade.  There is no groove on the back of the fast feed blade for these to snap into.  If the Oster A5 clipper guards attach in the same way (slide on to the clipper blade) these will not fit. The clipper blade measurements needed for these clipper guards to fit are approximately 1.75 inches wide at the clipper guard teeth and 1.5 inches from clipper guard teeth to the back of the blade near the screws. These do not fit on our wahl clippers, but we are so desperate to use them, that we have kept them anyway and just hold them on with my thumb. They are durable.
