Nice grain and straight. Was able to shave it down to thickness required using a bandsaw. Worked for repairing a guitar headstock.

I'm using this maple wood for making a leather strop. It's maple, so it's pretty and a somewhat hard wood. The dimensions are as expected. It's flat which is important for my use case. One of the sides on one of my pieces has some minor readout which doesn't matter for my use case. I'm docking a star as my wood somehow got wet on both ends of every piece. Not sure if that was a shipping issue or something from the manufacturer.

I saw a picture of this snowman on Pinterest with no instructions. By chance I started searching Amazon and found all the wood pieces! Quality is superb and packaging was great! There were a variety of sizes to choose from. Highly recommend! This is my finished gift!
