Review: This tool works so well! - I was struggling to remove engine block pins with no luck. I purchased this tool set and pulled the two pins within about five minutes, Excellent design and a quality product. Review: Worked to perfection - I am working on a Porsche/VW engine and the new flywheel does not have the provision for the dowel pins so I was unable to bolt it up. I used the CalVan dowel pin puller and was able to remove the pins and now I can bolt up the flywheel. It took some work but the tool worked to perfection. The only nit that I would pick is that the outer sleeve does not have a way to hold on to it so when I tried to remove the pin the whole assembly would turn. If the dowel pin(s) you’re looking to pull fall within the collet ID range then it will work. I did buy this and it’s not really metric per say since the collet contracts around the pin. If you have a standard size dowel pin that’s within the range of collets it should work just fine. **Q: Can you please describe the size collets included with this kit?
