Larger or stiff envelopes and magazines may need to be folded or angled, while bulky parcels are not recommended. **Q: Does it have a slot for outgoing mail?** A: No. This wall-mounted mailbox is designed for receiving incoming mail and does not include a separate outgoing-mail holder or flag. **Q: Does it come with mounting hardware?** A: Yes. The mailbox includes mounting hardware and pre-drilled mounting holes for straightforward wall installation. Always use hardware suitable for your specific mounting surface. **Q: Is the mailbox waterproof?** A: The coated steel body and protective mail flap help shield the opening from light rain, but the mailbox is not fully waterproof. Covered outdoor placement under a porch or eave is recommended. **Q: How does the key lock secure the mailbox?** A: The key lock controls access through the front door and includes two keys. The mail slot remains accessible for normal delivery, so the mailbox is intended for everyday privacy rather than high-security storage. ## Frequently Bought Together - KYODOLED Key Lock MailBoxes for Outside, Locking Wall Mount Mailbox, Security Key Drop Box for Letters Newspapers, Cards, 12.4H x 8.54L x 3.35W Inches, Black - Reflective Mailbox Numbers for Outside - 30 Pcs Waterproof Mailbox Numbers Stickers, Large 3 Inch Self Adhesive 0-9 Vinyl Number for Mailbox, Door, Garbage Bins, Address Number (White) - Architectural Mailboxes City Classic Galvanized Steel Wall Mount Mailbox, BW1100AM, Black, Small Capacity --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.uk/products/337866261-locking-mailbox-for-outside-large-black-wall-mount-mail-drop](https://www.desertcart.co.uk/products/337866261-locking-mailbox-for-outside-large-black-wall-mount-mail-drop) --- *Product available on Desertcart United Kingdom* *Store origin: GB* *Last updated: 2026-11-07*
