Typical DeWalt quality material and build. It comes packaged with a foam insert, presumably to protect during shipping... I had a previous socket set that the smaller pieces would fall out of their slot unless I added padded to hold them in place but this set seems to stay in place just fine; however, I think I will keep the foam insert as an extra layer of protection. It only comes with one ratchet which is somewhat disappointing, as there are times you need smaller or larger; however, this is an entry level set so it's understandable. Also includes a small selection of screwdriver bits and a handle to hold these which is nice in that you can just take 1 set to a job. Definitely would recommend for the average user.
