SUNEX TOOLS 9914M Metric Angle Wrench Set, Fully Polished, 6mm - 19mm, 14-Piece

I just bought these and some other Sunex wrench sets in Metric and SAE versions to compliment my current wrench collection. I've not had angle head wrenches before. I am restoring a 1960 Morris Minor so it's the perfect time to test these out. I used these to install a mechanical fuel pump and they worked fantastic. The polished finish is nice. The chrome is not quite as good as my polished Craftsman or Gearwrench wrenches, but it is good. I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of these wrenches. The sizing is spot on. They fit the hardware perfectly. A really nice fit and not sloppy at all. I highly recommend this set.

I am a heavy equipment mechanic that owns his own company and I have 2 or 3 of everything. I have a set of Snap On angle wrenches that I bought when I was younger and didn't have the convenience of shopping like this. Yes the Snap On wrenches are a great tool and they feel good in you hands, but, I still have chrome flaking off these so they are not perfect. I bought these and the SAE set to have on my mobile service trailer and they far exceed my expectations for the quality and the price. 25 years ago, the Snap On set cost me I think around $1500. I have had these Sunex sets now for over a year, in daily use, and I can say, "Would you like to buy my Snap On set for $1000?" If you are a young mechanic starting out, words of wisdom from someone who has done this 40 years, use your tool money wisely. Don't think that Snap On Funny Car and Dragster you are supporting, or the free calendar you got for buying the overpriced wrenches are going to help you do your job any better or easier, because they don't. You can do everything with these wrenches that the Snap Ons do, and have enough money to fill your tool box with other necessary tools.

Quality is good but the width of the heads are pretty wide.

I own a few sets of Sunex tools, and they have been uniformly good. These are well made, and appear that they will last well. The wrench faces are solid, with good tolerancing on the openings - they fit nuts and bolts correctly with minimal slop. Having both the 15 and 60 degree angles makes it much easier to use these in tight confines with limited throw room. All in all a very solid set of angle wrenches at a good price.

I like this wrench, comes particularly handy in tight spaces when doing abs lines close to firewalls and in odd locations. The chrome finish is really neat , you can find these easily if you misplace them and they feel pretty good biting on the flare nuts , so no slip

I love the strength of them, the finish, how they feel in your hand, they are thinner than normal so you can use them on front brakes and I’m a class-A mechanic, so I use them every day. I definitely recommend.

Great roll, decent spanners. Made in India, as on the packaging, unsure whether that’d be a good thing or bad? You decide. Not really had them up to much, just awkward spots broken with a regular spanner. They ain’t pretty, just like it’s two older brothers, but that don’t worry me too much. Left 4 stars as the price is good, and the two larger sets are great so far cracking off pneumatic pipes on manifolds.
