They and the box they came in looked fine, with no damage visible anywhere. The cables work perfectly. Before, I was using a Coax cable with only 3 pins (I STILL don't know why it worked...). I wanted to stream games with my Genesis, but when I connected it to my TV Tuner, it came out black-and-white, with no sound. When I used this A/V Cable, it... was still the same. It turned out my TV Tuner couldn't do it. One USB capture device later, and the A/V cables work like a dream. I've also plugged them into my old VCR, and they work perfectly there. They have good sound and color. If you need to plug a Sega Genesis into a TV, or an RCA-based streaming system, these will work perfectly. NOTE: These, as I have said a few times, are for the Model 2 Genesis or Nomad. If you need one for the Genesis 1, search for the version that only has 2 cables (the Genesis 1 output mono audio).
