The right pedal will have a right hand (clockwise) thread and the left a left hand (counter clockwise) thread. If I remember right Eggbeaters have an engraved ring around the outer barrel off the pedal but you cannot screw pedals on the wrong crank without destroying them. Note: Crankbrothers cleats ARE right and left and can be placed either way. Dotted cleat on the right shoe yields a 15 degree angle of release while placincing the dotted cleat on the left shoe yields a 20 degree release making them a little harder to get out of. Recommend staying with the dotted cleat on the right shoe unless you know what you are doing. **Q: what is the year of manufacture for these? It says 2010....but the photos are of newer model (year) pedals.
