A: This product has a 2% Gentian Violet.

**Q: What are the active ingredients? There's no picture of that part of the label and that info isn't included in the description.**
A: P.V.P Iodine Complex -2%, Gentian Violet, INACTIVE Ingredients, Water, Formalin, denatured alcoholIt really works!

**Q: This has Formalin in it, does everyone know that?  Do not use!!!!**
A: It used as an industrial fungicide, germicide, and disinfectant, and as a preservative….it’s used in make up, shampoos etc.  we’ve used this product for years following application directions snd great results.  And will continue using this product.

**Q: Can it be used on a horses hooves to prevent thrush?**
A: I'm not sure. I only used when my horse had thrush.
