It's about 2/3 the size of the old one, has a fabric case instead of the big rigid, plastic one I had, and is so much lighter and comfortable to use. And because the bag is flexible, I can store my drill bits and screw tips (etc.) in there so everything is all in one place, making it easy to "grab & go" when I need to fix something. It seems just as powerful, maybe even more. I've had it for a few months and only charged it once so the battery life seems excellent. I just use it to fix stuff around the house, so am not using it for a full-time job.
