I found it great for charging, and the convenience of only one cable! I plugged it into the docking cradle I have for my TX and the USB end into a charging port on a power-bar. It brings my TX up to full capacity from less than a quarter charge remaining in about 3 hours, possibly sooner as I don’t stand and watch the time.
