It removed pretty much completely the chlorine smell of the water (and I assume by that the chlorine was removed) and I can feel the difference in my skin and in my hair. My skin is not breaking out and dehydrated anymore and I feel my hair much more healthy now. The handheld is a bonus, but it could be more stable in the shower (when you touch the hose the shower head moves usually). Thinking about it now maybe I should have chosen the chrome one.
