I was afraid it might be too dark based on the picture and that is not the case at all. This Dark Tint Helmet Shield is ideal for riding on Sunny days. Even if the weather clouds up you can still see fine out of it. I also own the Bell Light Tint and Transitions Helmet Shields. Although all of them are good, this one is the best value for the money if you only want one. You probably would not want to do night riding with this shield. Bell's quick release design makes it easy/fast to change out though so you could put your stock clear shield back in for night riding. Would I purchase this item again knowing what I know now?
