Review: Great Sous Vide Container at a Great Price - In searching for a Sous vide container, I noticed that several brands sell the lid separately. It’s not like the container alone is inexpensive. This comes with the lid at a great price. I almost returned it because it looked too small. It’s a good size for many items. My video shows an approximate 4 pound roast. The opening easily holds my Joule Sous vide. I Sous Vide’d several Mason jars of cheesecake at once. (Stacking the 8 ounce ones.) Sous Vide’d meat for 18 hours without having to refill the water. For roasts over about 6 pounds, you’ll probably need a larger container. Highly recommended.
