Product Description GenUltimate Test strips for use with one touch ultra meters this is set of 3 packs of 50. Also for alternate site testing. Value priced Test strips. Manufacturer Contact Information 1-844-874-2726 Review: Be sure to set the control code - I have ordered these test strips multiple times now. They work as well as the name brand strip and a much lower price (even lower than the insurance price at the pharmacy). I have tested one strip out of each bottle with a control solution and found that every time the value is dead center of the control range or within a point or two in value. The only caution is that each batch has had a different control code number so you do need to set your device to get accurate values (I missed doing this the first time and had numbers that were way off the expected. Once corrected the numbers were very accurate.) I will buy these strips every time I need more. Review: Good Value on dependable test strip - I usually compare my test results with my One Step once every 12 to 15 strips, and the results have been acceptable. Good product, great price.

Less expensive than my copay
Cheaper than my co-pay on insurance. Been getting for a couple of years now .I have not had one issue . Every now and again will check at the doctors office when they draw blood. Within acceptable range.

For the value, I can work with the consistently higher readings.
Not on par with the more expensive test strips; the readings are consistently 10-15 points higher than usual. But since they are pretty consistent, I just double check my levels every so often with the expensive strips and use these value priced ones for every day use.

Life and wallet savers!
My insurance only covered 25 strips for my Gestational Diabetes, and I didn’t want to shell out $140 for strips! My mom told me about these, and they’ve been great! I just had to configure my machine and I haven’t had any issues! I got the 3pack and it’s been so worth it!

On the other hand take it from a senior that doesn't have any diabetic coverage these do just fine. When you compare the costs
I lined up a OneTouch and GenUltimate side by side. I then took a blood sample with each strip making sure to set the proper calibration code for each strip. The Genstrip read slightly higher than the OneTouch by 0.3 to 0.5. I then did the same test with the OneTouch control solution. Same result. Both fell into the acceptable range. Of course you're going to always have the naysayers swear by the blue strips. On the other hand take it from a senior that doesn't have any diabetic coverage these do just fine. When you compare the costs, in Canada Costco is the cheapest at $73.50 CDN for 100 and Loblaws at $79.50 for the blue strips. Even when you take into account the US dollar and shipping it is still way cheaper for the Genstrips. There was no problem getting these shipped across the border. I checked with a independent customs broker and it is legal to import diabetic supplies into Canada as long as it is for your own personal use.
