A: I was able to fit a 12 pro plus, an RXBAR, and a cardholder that I use as my wallet.

A: I don't think so. I put my car's key fob in the front pocket and have no problem starting the car. Additionally, my phone is in the back pocket and my car recognizes it. Hope this helps.
