I installed the transceiver in a 2.0 USB port. Took Windows 10 about 15 seconds to set up the dongle. I then powered up the mouse and it worked immediately, and the same with the keyboard. One function that was missing from her previous mouse was a working scroll button. She has that now which makes her happy. She does light gaming on her computer so she doesn't need a $400 mouse or keyboard. And if this is like other Logitech products I've bought, it will be very durable as well. The mouse is a perfect fit for her hands, and she can type with ease with it. It's perfect fit day to day use, but I wouldn't probably recommend it for heavy duty gaming ability. Recommended! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well *by J***. on January 28, 2025* I would recommend having your own batteries, the ones that come with didn't power the keyboard for mine. A couple of Duracells fixed that. The packaging made it impossible to lose the receiver dongle while unpacking which I thought was convenient. Just insert batteries and plug in the dongle and you are good to go - it couldn't be simpler. The unit is lightweight, looks good and has a good touch. I was amazed at the quality and performance for an item that is this inexpensive. The mouse is as good as the keyboard. I like the fact that it can be turned off to save battery, although that is something I tend to forget. It's very responsive and feels good in the hand. It lacks niceties like lights to show you if caps lock is on and audible feedback for key press. I haven't actually tested each and every key to make sure they all work, but I haven't had a failure yet so I assume they do.
