Light came on and everything but would not go off of red. Stupid jerks at Linksys said "sorry your support on that ran out, but that model is no longer covered. Get our new ones for like $400" - Annoying. Probably would've taken them like 5 min to figure out the old one was bad. Anyway, not going to spend a ton when I had another node anyway as a child node. It worked as the main node! So I bought this one to replace the other child node. It fired right up ... easily added it and am back in business for $19. We'll see if it lasts. Mine was damaged.** A: I assume you are talking about the Ethernet cable that you can plug into each node then into a computer or whatever. It's just a standard Ethernet cable like Cat7 with a male RJ45 plug for the node (and probably for your computer). They usually come with males on both ends. If you are talking about the cable that connects from your cable modem to the Velop master node or the cable provided by your internet service provider that cable needs to have a male RJ45 jack to plug into the Velop's female port. If you are talking about the power supplies that feeds each of the nodes I would contact Linksys for the power supply info as they will know the power supply details..... **Q: Can i add this dual band to my single band setup? I have 3 velops that are single band that I purchased unaware, didn't read the description correctly** A: Linksys says that All Velops are supposed to work with all Velops. But all I have experience with are dual bands.
