It’s the best thing we’ve tried, not to mention good fun, one day I was using it after 2 weeks using it, and it just locked up and won’t let me reload. Too expensive to buy again if it’s only going to stop working again. It’s a real Shame. It feels well built, and no batteries, I can such high hopes. But in theory yes blast your chips after you have done some damage to them pesky flies. **Q: Why is it 4 times the normal price** A: Because it’s become popular if you go on there website and order direct it’s cheaper! **Q: How far does this fire? Thanks** A: Basically, you have to be pretty close range, within 20cms of a stationary target for effective fire. From 30cms you can give a moving target something to think about, most of the time force a landing, where you can then gain the advantage. Either way, it’s hella fun. Addedum: this only really works on house flies and smaller. I tried this on a couple of hornets yesterday and it was like the end scene of The Last Samurai. **Q: How does Amazon allow them to charge £180 on this stupid toy?** A: Used to be 59 GBP. which is not too bad.
