Waking up with soft lips after applying this the night before is the best feeling. It's still on when I wake up too! During the day, I do have to reapply every few hours, as I'm eating, drinking, etc.I have tried countless other lip balms and this has been the best one for me. It has both hydrating and emollient properties, so it not only hydrates your lips, but it also locks in existing moisture. Usually, I have to layer lip products to get both qualities.It has a bit of a glossy finish. Stickiness is minimal and it feels quite comfortable on the lips. In comparison to other products containing lanolin, such as Aquaphor and Lanolips, I found this much more comfortable and hydrating. In contrast, the products mentioned prior feel quite heavy and sticky on the lips.The price made me stop and think for a bit, as it is expensive for such a small tube. That being said, this lip balm is composed of 100% lanolin and does not contain any additional ingredients such as preservatives. Lansinoh also states that their lanolin is ethically sourced.
