I almost DNF but i continued to plow through. I am so glad I did. I loved it: simply enjoyable and entertaining. We have two MC's Jeremy and Nick: each are lonely. Jeremy wanting the love so many of his friends have found; has terrible experiences with love and Nick,straight, just moved to the area and had no real friends developed yet. Nick, very sweet and nice, decided to help Jeremy out of a sticky situation where he had drunk posted his supposed accomplishments and his great boyfriend. Now they were pretend boy friends and off it goes. It is very entertaining, slow building, gay for you romance-no instant love-(maybe one sided lust on Jeremy's side since Nick is straight with an adorable 6 year old Ava.). To me it was more than that: they began friends doing stuff together: soon Nick began experiencing "feelings" more than friendship for Jeremy,(nicknamed J by Nick) and Jeremy has done what he thought he never would do"fall for a straight guy". Now this internal rambling and mental obsessive check listing is now an adorable, quirky trait. As one would know, some anguish occurs, but this book is an awesome, humorous and entertaining read. Both MC's are flawed and I love how Sierra presents sensitive information. I find her writing gets better as time goes on. "Falling" appears to be the 3rd in the same world as "Someday" and "Delicious" but can be read by itself but it is much better reading the others first to get the field of the world Sierra created. Read and enjoy. Highly recommend it.*****************************************ARC given by the author for an honest review. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Conflict and Romance!! *by V***R on November 10, 2019* I loved how Jeremy's story flowed. It contained angst, miscommunication, and a manipulative ex, but the entire story was one I couldn't put down once I started reading it. Jeremy tells a fib when he's out drinking one night and while at the gym, he runs into the reunion coordinator to his high school reunion who read all his lies from the night before, and mistakes Nick, a trainer at the gym, for Jeremy's boyfriend. Nick goes along with it and they soon realize they enjoy each other's company and become friends. Nick thinks he's straight, but he loves being Jeremy's fake boyfriend and soon, it becomes real for him. This is a lovely read, parts of which broke my heart, but the two are destined to be together. A highly recommended romance!! ### ⭐⭐ Bland characters and questionable chemistry *by L***E on August 19, 2016* My favorite of Sierra Ridley's novels is "Guardian". I found it to be the most even story telling and not where you had to suspend disbelief. My second favorite is "Delicious" where you really had to suspend disbelief in that Gavin kept telling himself and the reader that Ben was straight. I think I developed a crush on Ben and have found myself reading certain parts several times. One can always dream. ;)I honestly don't know why Jeremy and Nick are so lackluster in comparison to the above books. I bought it in the last of July and still can't finish it. I find it difficult for Nick to be admired to such a high strung character as Jeremy. Nick's ex-wife is even blah as the dictator of Nick's life due to the two of them sharing a daughter.With all the positive reviews and if you are a huge Sierra Riley fan, go for it.
