My floor is no longer full of cat litter and it has been very easy to clean up. It was super easy to put together, and because cats are standing on it and not humans, I think they are fine. I do think that they would not probably stand up to human weight. Review: Got these to elevate the mattress in our boat to allow air flow under it. the fact that they can ONLY snap together in a straight line is a bit disappointing. They arrived just as described and worked well for that purpose. The plastic is quite rigid and a little hard to snap together at first, but strong fingers prevailed.
