Since it's clearly not 14 oz.** A: The mug is 14 ounces however when using the lid the capacity is only 12 ounces **Q: does ceramic coating contain lead?** A: No it does not thank you for your inquiry **Q: Question to the manufacturer: what is the lid made of ?** A: Tritan **Q: hi, where can I buy a lid?** A: The lid that comes with this mug is junk. Luckily I was able to use a lid, that fits perfectly, off another mug I had in cabinet. I would suggest you take the mug to Walmart, Bed, Bath and Beyond or some other store that sells mugs. Find a mug that has a lid that fits the Asobu. You will have to buy the mug to get the lid but takes the guesswork out of buying online and the cost of complete mug and lid will most likely be about the same price as just buying the lid.
