The pieces are small. That is, the same size one would find in a 1,000 or 2,000 piece puzzle.

like most Ravensburgers I have done the box picture is it. some have a picture on a sheet with info about the artist but in that case the picture is usually smaller than the box lid and I don't recall that this particular puzzle had that.
