I am also a mechanic and it has come on handy 1000 times... it does have 2 flaws and I'll explain those... one is me just being picky, but the second is a must read for LEOs... (1) clock only has 24hr time and not 12hr... i don't like figuring out what 17:32 is... like I said, that's just me being picky (2) VERY IMPORTANT for LEOs: There is no way to effectively turn the light off while keeping your weapon on target... if you need to go dark, and conceal your location, you can't reach the button without taking your weapon off target... a button on the band would have been a better place for the on off switch, so a thumb could cancel the light... that is the only downfall of this light... I've only charged my light once and have used it for over an hour or more accumulated time... it has to brightnesses... both will blind you... Review: Cool whatch - Works good.
