According to a very respected tester of cables, UGREEN has listed at least one USB-A to USB-C cable that is known to be a bad cable (see link below). The 56k ohm resister is supposed to keep this from being an issue, but I think there's a reasonable chance that these cables are bad and will fry your device.UPDATE2 - Cranking it back to 3 stars.
