Is it useful for measurements where the range is +/- 20 mV?** A: its noisy in the fact the fans arent quite. Not because of line noise... 20mv is not a problem **Q: Does this item include the optional items(16ch logic decoder, usb awg and usb wifi)?** A: For WiFi you can use an Access Point that can be operated in "Client Mode". I am using a TP-Link N300 (WR802N) and it works very well. The other options really seem to require special firmware/license upgrades. **Q: Is siglent sds1104x-e good for a beginner?** A: The SDS 1104X-E is a great scope. It is considered an entry level instrument. It is excellent for the individual entering the electronics field. **Q: Can I decode ic, spi, uart/Rs232, can, lin signals with the the scope, i.e. without the sla1016 module?** A: Yes! Decoding is included with the base model!
