I've used them for previous versions of MIcrosoft software and found them easy to use and extremely helpful. Their explanations are clear and easy to understand. Many color illustrations help the reader work with the new information they contain. LIke the other books in this series, this Windows 10 book has become my "bible". It answers so many questions about how to use this new software. I bought it sight unseen because I KNEW it would be helpful. ..and it has been. Review: Very good helpful source for the basic stuff with Windows 10. - A friend of mine recently purchased a new computer with Windows 10 on it. I bought this book because I wanted to be able to help him with the use of his new machine. He is not into the "tech stuff" very much. I found the book very helpful with much of the things that you will find to be different from Windows 7 or 8.1. The book is very basic and walks you through the various sections with excellent visuals and simple step by step instruction. Once you get past the basic stuff, the books just does not keep up and I suspect another more in depth source will be needed. I anticipate needing to eventually upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 7 on my computer so I am glad I bought this book for starters. After the Windows 10 operating system gets all (or most) of the little bugs out, I'll need a more inclusive source of information. But for now, my friend thinks I'm very helpful.
