It behaves as if I still have a landline *by G***H on May 24, 2024* I have been paying way too much for internet and phone service. When Fiber came to my neighborhood, it was time to drop my old service once and for all and, disconnect my landline.As I have several phones throughout my house, I was wondering if there was a way I could connect my cell phone to my landline phones and make them behave as if I still had landline service; the difference being that the calls would go through my cell phone instead of the cabled phone service. I found this device on-line. I was a bit skeptical at first. Is it as good as people have claimed? I decided to try it.Installation was EASY PEASY! All I had to do was disconnect my old landline service, then plug this device into a phone jack, plug the power adaptor in, turn on bluetooth on my cell phone, press and hold the left button on the device until the blue light started flashing, then tell my cell phone to connect to it. That was it! It didn't even ask for the pairing code, it simply connected.I made a test call to my brother, got his voice mail so I left him a message and played it back. Voice quality was surprisingly good!I can now pick up any phone in the house, I immediately get a dialtone. When I dial a phone number, it does take a few seconds for the call to go through, (maye 15 seconds or so) but it behaves as if I still have landline service, which is exactly what I wanted. When someone calls me, they hear it ringing on their side for one or two rings before my phones actually start ringing.The device communicates with the cell phone via blue tooth technology, but it does have a size "C" usb jack, so I believe it can be connected to the cell phone with a USB cable if I wanted to. The typical range for blue tooth is about 10 meeters or almost 30 feet. I tested by placing my cell phone in the far corners of the house, basement and main floor. It worked perfectly! No signal loss. I placed the device in a room in my basement, near the center of the house.I'm quite impressed with this gadget. For something as small as it is, it works great. This unit supports two cell phones. Oh, I should also mention caller ID works with it too! I have a Motorola phone. It doesn't display the name of who's calling (I don't think?) but it DOES display the phone number of who is calling. ### ⭐ looses connection with cell phone *by D***. on November 17, 2024* Product works great, then suddenly no connection. Still has dial tone and blue tooth still connected but no communication. Must unplug and reboot then works for a few days. Bought Cell-to-jack and it works perfectly ALL THE Time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This works SO WELL! *by J***D on April 23, 2025* Works so well! I have a motorized M&Ms character phone from the 90s. Now it works again - and it works really well too! Rings when someone calls me, and dials out too - all blue-toothed to my cell phone. I LOVE it. And connects in 2 seconds, and reconnects when I walk in the house - and my M&Ms phone is on the second story!
