Not up to my audiophile family member's standards, but these aren't for music, for me.The earphone cords extend far enough that I'm able to comfortably turn my head, etc, without pulling them out of my ears. They extend about 11" and I have had no problem with moving around while I have them on.They stay on well, except I had to hold onto them to get them to stay put while I removed my sweater, and later when I had a bag slung over my shoulder it pulled them off when I put the bag down.The one "con" to this headset is that when you let out the earbuds or reel them back in, the ratcheting sound that it makes is very loud. In the office people all turn to see what the noise is when I pull the earbuds out, and I think I startled the girl who sits next to me. So, in my opinion, the one way these could be improved would be for the winding mechanism to be quieter. It has a long battery life and has an auto-shutoff in case you leave the it on but stop listening to music. This is a nice feature that prevents the battery from being drained when on but not being used. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is the sound is not as loud as I would like. For normal use, the sound is fine but it does not play stereo quality sound. There is not much base, especially compared to my Motorola S305.
