UPDATE JANUARY 2023: THIS THING IS CHEAP. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. In fact, go ahead and purchase a good, old-fashioned analogue scale. These glass scales need to be stopped! One little tap on the edge when I was picking it up in the bathroom caused the entire thing to shatter. And no, it does not measure accurately now without the weight of the glass on top. The return window on Amazon already closed unfortunately. I ordered an old-school analogue scale. No need to worry about batteries, recharging, or delicate glass that might shatter at random from a tap at a particle angle. JUNE 2022: It weighs me. Only slight minor annoyance is having to press the button on the bottom everytime I want to weigh myself. However that's not a big deal. Just takes a couple extra seconds.
