Teleprompter

This was my original 1 star rating: (UPDATE AT BOTTOM)I like the way this teleprompter is built so I spent the time putting it all together attaching it to my video camera and first of all of the remote control does not work. It will not power on with new batteries. Secondly, I cannot find an app on the Android for this remote control. Please let me know what I'm missing. Thanks. I will revise this review once I have it working. ************** UPDATE: LOVE-IT! The AAA batteries I tried was the wrong voltage(I didn't know that was possible).The App icon is not the same so I downloaded it again and it does work with the remote.

The Desview T3 Teleprompter is so easy to set up and connect devices to. I love how there are so many camera rings included that it's an easy transition connecting any camera and different sized lenses to it. What is helpful too is that it is very light so easy to travel with. The app for the teleprompter is also great and the remote works perfectly with it. The cold shoe mounts on top of the teleprompter are super helpful, letting me add lights and/or a mic. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

There are no directions for how to get text on the iPad. User not told those directions are in the app recommended for use with the teleprompter. Recommended app won't work on older iPads. Had to find an older app at the iPad app store. Shouldn't have to run around Robin Hood's barn to find what's needed to get something to work.

I had bought this teleprompter nearly a year ago but didn't use it for the longest time since the glass had broken upon moving. Reached out several months later and customer service was super helpful and accommodating. Been using the teleprompter since and it works as promised, as so does the app. The app isn't the greatest, there's one small thing that's a bit annoying to me personally but it's minor overall and everything works as described.

The T2 is often rated as one of the best compact, fit-on-the-lens teleprompters. I had a T2 for only a week, and the T3 was released a couple days after my T2 purchase, so I returned and bought new. All teleprompters have the same basic functions - holding a phone or tablet in front, a light box with mirror, and a camera mounted in back. So the differences depend on size, weight, and small design features. The T3 has several improvements. I'm not sure it's actually "smaller." The camera mount on the back is the same. The "lid" or front dust guard is easier to take on an off, and now says "PULL" on the top (pull up to remove). The front carrier is redesigned in several ways. It now fastens to the hood with one thumbscrew. It telescopes out to about 6.5 inches. (An iPad Mini is about 5"). Also, the whole mount now can travel up and down about 2" as you watch the image size in the mirror. There are now three cold shoe mounts, two on top of the hood and one on the outside tip of the tablet rack. Minor Tips * I use a desktop tripod, Neewer 20". You can set the legs to lean back a little bit (so it doesn't topple forward) and then adjust the ball mount so the camera is level. * If you have a camera without a lens mount (like a Sony RX100 or ZV-1) look for a "CAME TV" brand rack that holds a 52 mm filter right in front of your camera lens, which is how you mount the T3. * The bluetooth hand held script control is a nice touch, although I haven't used it since I own a license for PromptSmart voice-activated software.

I've used the Desview T2 model for several shoots. What's great about these is that they are simple, small, portable, and easy to use. This new model is even smaller than the T2 and has a better more flexible holder for phone or tablet. That way you don't have to switch from one attachment to another. Like a lot of other low-profile teleprompters, you won't want to have your phone/tablet screen on full brightness or some small artifacting will be captured in the camera image. But slightly dimmed, it works like a charm. I've done professional shoots with this little guy and they've turned out great. The one thing I hope they add to the next model (or as an accessory) is a small carrying case. it's a bit of a pain to take it apart so that it fits in it's box. I'd rather have a case where I can put it fully assembled and ready to go. But for the price, this is hard to beat!

This teleprompter is very simple and easy to use. I tested it out with my phone and then plugged my wife's camera into the back of it. This is a very affordable teleprompter setup that she's actually going to be able to use for work. There's so many adapters that you can pretty much use any camera. You can also set it on a tripod monopod or any other attachment to keep it stabilized. 10 out of 10 I would definitely recommend this. The app is extremely easy to use with it and you can even mirror the text. The remote allows you to control the app remotely so you don't have to touch the screen.

Ce prompteur est tout petit et ne fait pas le job. D'abord en filmant avec un Iphone, nous avons du "bidouiller" parce que le support de l'appareil ne s'adapte pas à tous les appareils photos/videos et donc nous avons acheté un autre support. Meme avec un technicien, nous avons filmé mais la personne qui lisait voyait le jour à travers le prompteur, jour qui a fait des reflets sur la video. Et enfin, pas adapté à une tablette puisque le prompteur coupe le texte à droite et à gauche : on est obligé de "deviner" la moitié des mots. J'aurais renvoyé le prompteur mais on l'a utilisé pour la première fois bien après la date de renvoi.. Bref, on aurait pas du prendre le premier prix ; surtout que celui est est hors de prix par rapport à la qualité

High quality and everything is perfect

Trust me....This is an amazing product for content creators. The quality is great, really easy to install, numerous camera fittings (for both, DSLR and mobile). The reflective screen is too good too, and it comes with a protective hard cover, which makes it last for long. And the best part of the package is it's Remote....amazing accessory, works like a charm...Makes the whole process of shooting like slicing a cake. In short, if you want something to ease off your work load while shooting, a product like this is a "Must Buy".

Pretty sturdy mounts to hold you expensive phone and iPads etc. Reflective coating seems reasonable for teleprompting. Lots of accessories to customize for your preference / camera set up. Remote control for prompter adds another dimension of functionality for practical use. Overall pretty please with this product and I will recommend it!! Satisfied

It is VERY user friendly and easy to set up. I am pleasantly surprised how good a unit this is. Happy to recommend this product
