As we opened the box up, and saw how everything was packaged and the quality of items, we knew straight away that this had to be from a company which cared about its product - this was confirmed with the thank you card letting us know , it’s a small family business. You can tell.My niece has already had tons of fun within the first day. She is obsessed with bugs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars A Christmas Hit *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 December 2022* Bought this for almost 4 year old nephew for Christmas. He loved it! The binoculars and torch were individually boxed inside the main box and the binoculars also came in a little pouch so he enjoyed unpacking everything. Be aware the binoculars have a long cord for wearing around the neck and it is just a cord rather than a strap with a quick release option so it may be worth removing or replacing with something safer if there is strangulation risk especially with younger children/siblings. The bug viewer was particularly popular as it has different viewing lenses including one that shows you the underneath of the creature. The plastic bugs were great, especially as it meant the kit could be played with immediately despite it being dark outside. Everything was well designed for little hands with some parental support putting things together. The bag was quite thin and may not last long but I also bought a chest style gift box and that has now become his bug science box to keep everything together. The tweezers with plastic sphere end were put into use when dad found a spider on the stairs and he reported it was easier than using a glass. As I was standing on the chair at the time as far away from the spider as possible I can only take his word for it! Big thumbs up from Mr almost 4 and from his parents (dad may be less enthusiastic when he is reminded first thing in the morning of his promise to go out bug hunting instead of a post Christmas lie-in). I've bought quite a few different types in recent years & this is probably the best bug hunting kit. It's got loads of items, well made & like the bag as it keeps it altogether. We obviously release all the bugs unharmed after.
