With a PC and the right USB cable it's s very easy to load up your MP3 sound file. I substituted a magnetic switch for the one supplied, which I attached to the front door and frame and stuck the device with speaker, which are provided with an adhesive backing, and the battery box to the inside of the door. When the door was opened slowly it was accompanied by the creaking sound. Despite its small size the speaker delivered a surprisingly loud effect and the sound quality was excellent. The device reset when the door was closed. Can think of many other ways this could be used and triggered.
