Avevo già un altro Leica da molti anni, però questo nuovo ha la funzione videocamera, che permette di risolvere in maniera estremamente efficace i problemi dati dalla luce solare, la quale rende invisibile il puntino laser. Ottima precisione, ottima stabilità, i tasti non sono troppo duri quindi quando si effettua la misura non si sposta troppo lo strumento. Ovviamente ci sono tutte le funzioni tipo quella di somma-sottrazione, dispone inoltre di più punti di partenza per la misura (es. dal retro dello strumento, dalla punta dello strumento). È possibile effettuare le misure ed inviarle automaticamente via bluetooth ad un altro dispositivo tipo tablet, rendendo così molto più automatico il rilievo.
