Can be a bit side heavy with the water but I don't carry it around anyway. I love knowing I'm not dipping the mop back into the clean water each time so the clean water gets dirty. Easy to fill. Spin is amazing. I used to mop my floor and it would take do long to dry. This is dry in minutes.

A: I am afraid I don't understand your question about the dollar store.  And I haven't had the old system.  This is the first O-Cedar bucket floor cleaning system I have ever owned but its awesome.  The clean and dirty water are separated and the the wringer wrings the water out really well.!  Does that help??
