Leather has a smell, and leather has pores. This is leather, it is not vinyl or pleather. It looks and feels much like my Coach handbag I've had for 15 years, and I hope will wear just as well. The sewing and construction is neat and good quality and the design is thoughtful with good attention to detail. My bust is 36", following the size chart I ordered a small. It fits well, with enough room for layers or a sweater under in the colder months. I usually wear a 4 or 6 in tops and a XS probably would have worked for me as well, but I am happy with the fit. On me, the jacket does not look as cropped as it does on the model. It falls at my high hip. Otherwise it is exactly as pictured. I am very pleased with it. My jacket was shipped by DHL and arrived the same day as my 2-day Prime order. I can understand why some reviewer thought that it was fake, because the lambskin is flawless.
