The three-layer design (metal mesh, foam, and etamine layer) does help reduce popping sounds, wind noise, and harsh breaths when recording, especially for voiceovers or streaming with a Blue Yeti. The build quality itself feels decent and sturdy, and it definitely improves audio clarity compared to having no pop filter at all. However, the biggest downside and a pretty frustrating one is installation. The rubber bands were extremely finicky and difficult to work with. It took me about 15 minutes of trial and error just to get it properly secured on the microphone. The bands kept slipping, twisting, or not sitting evenly, which made the process way more complicated than it should be. If you don’t have a lot of patience, this part can be very annoying. Once it’s on, it stays in place and does its job well, but the struggle to attach it really takes away from the overall experience. If PEMOTech could improve the attachment method, this would be a much better product.
