I work in power-sports and replace chains often. This tool is exactly what I needed, sturdy and easy to use. I do not use it to break chains as I have a different tool for that. Pressing on side plates was a breeze and the pressing of the rivets is very simple, just a small adjustment of the tool is required. It is made in such a way that it has a built in stop when pressing/spreading the rivet head, so it can't be over pressed. I read some reviews that said the tool broke when trying to break the chain. Makes me wonder if they ground the head of the rivet off before trying to press them out, as should always be done.
