The only complaint I have is when you go fast and then slow down, it takes about a minute to 2 minutes to locate bottom and depth again. I noticed I lose bottom and depth if I am traveling faster than 10MPH. If it is for a short period the depth comes back fairly quickly but if it is around 2 miles or farther than it takes the minute to 2 to come back. I replaced a 5 inch garmin that i moved up to the bow. The Garmin lost bottom at around the same speed but only took about 10seconds to back when I slowed down. Other than that I love this Simrad. The charts are amazingly detailed and the gps is very accurate. The side imaging and down imaging is amazing. I have been fishing wisconsin and minnesota lakes and they have all been on this unit. I have used it over 20 times since wisconsin walleye opener the first week of may without any issues. Everyone asks me about the brand. If its not hummingbird, lowrance, or garmin they haven't heard of it. lol But I would highly recommend this product. I could probably fix the depth loss issue by adjusting the transducer but it really hasn't been an issue. I just stop and get some gear ready and poof I have depth again. lol ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Out-of-the-box, Initial Start-up and Update: So far, so good *by M***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 20, 2018* After reading some of the other reviews, I became a little apprehensive about my purchase. However, now that it has arrived I've been playing with it somewhat...trying to learn the controls and user interface and such. So far, it started right up out of the box. No issues. I connected to the wi-fi in my home with no issues. I ran the update and it took maybe 3-4 minutes. It connected to my phone without issue and everything seems to work great! However, I could see where someone without much experience in wi-fi or advanced electronic interfaces could become very frustrated. But, if you know your way around a cell phone, iPad, or computer, you should have no worries. The maps that are preloaded are nice and clear. The touch screen is very responsive. Processing a detailed map, however, can be a little slow. I'm still playing with it and haven't yet rigged it to the boat and taken it out. I'll update as I go along. So far, it's a lot of fun and relatively intuitive. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overall I love it *by C***L on Reviewed in the United States on August 16, 2018* This unit works great for me. I got it cheaper than Lowrance, even though it is basically the exact same as Lowrance Elite. The maps come pre loaded for free (multiple difference, I chose Navionics). I synced it up to my wifi at my house to update it and update the maps. My only issues is when I turn on my master switch the unit comes on. Overall not a big deal for me as when I have my electronics on I want this unit on, but I could see how having a smaller boat or older one without a master switch may be an issue. But as long as mine has power running to it, it will not turn off. But I always turn off my master switch when returning to land and it doesn't run down my battery. Installation was a breeze. It took me a while to learn it but its worth it. I am seeing stuff in the bottom of the lake that I never could before.
