Simple one touch buttons to choose between different preset light modes or you can adjust it to your liking. Has a timer and USB port as well but both of these functions I haven't tried as of yet. This light is perfect for my needs. When there is a lot of ambient light, I use a lower light setting to fill in and when the room is darker, the brightest setting is...well, bright! I really appreciate how much the arm bends and rotates so I can get the right lighting. My husband makes very detailed models that require the use of tweezers for most parts.
